Terms & Conditions

  1. Definitions

  • “We”, “us”, “our” refers to Shine Haus.

  • “You”, “your”, “client” refers to the person or entity requesting our services.

  • “Services” means the cleaning services described in the booking confirmation, quote, or invoice.

2. Services Provided

  • We agree to provide cleaning services as detailed in your confirmed booking or written agreement.

  • Any additional tasks requested that are not included in the original scope will be charged at our standard hourly or per-task rates.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service where conditions are unsafe, hazardous, or not as described at the time of booking.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are based on information provided by you and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • Quotes may be revised if:

    • The condition of the property is significantly different from the description provided.

    • Additional services are requested.

  • Prices include/exclude GST (as applicable). This will be stated clearly on your quote/invoice.

4. Bookings

  • Bookings can be made via phone, email, or our website.

  • A booking is only confirmed once we have provided written confirmation (email or SMS).

  • Certain bookings may require a deposit of 50%, payable upon confirmation. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

5. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Credit Card or Direct Deposit.

  • Overdue accounts will incur a late fee of $20 per day after the due date.

  • If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, we reserve the right to refer the debt to a collection agency and recover any collection costs from you.

  • Credit card payments will incur a 1.5% surcharge.

  • Direct Debit is only available for regular cleaning services.

6. Access to the Property

  • You must provide safe, reasonable access to the property at the agreed date and time.

  • If access is not possible (e.g., locked property, no key, no one home) and we cannot perform the service, a call-out fee of $200 will apply.

  • Parking fees, if applicable, will be added to the final invoice.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • At least 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations with less notice may incur a fee of $200

  • If we arrive and are unable to perform the service due to client fault (e.g., no access, unsafe conditions), full service cost may still be charged.

8. Client Responsibilities

  • Remove valuable or fragile items from cleaning areas.

  • Ensure electricity and running water are available during the service.

  • Provide clear instructions for alarm systems, pets, or restricted areas.

  • Notify us in advance of any special cleaning requirements or surfaces requiring non-standard care.

9. Damage & Liability

  • We take all reasonable care when providing services, but we are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or structural defects.

    • Items not securely fixed or in a fragile condition.

  • Any damage or loss must be reported to us within 24 hours of service completion.

  • Our total liability is limited to the value of the service provided on that occasion.

10. Health & Safety

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are hazardous (e.g., presence of bodily fluids, pest infestations, dangerous animals, unsafe building structure).

  • For health and safety reasons, certain hazardous cleaning tasks (e.g., asbestos, biohazard waste) are excluded from our standard services unless expressly agreed in writing.

11. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you are not satisfied with the service, notify us within 24 hours.

  • We will arrange a re-clean of the affected area at no additional charge, provided:

    • The complaint is valid and related to the agreed scope.

    • The property is in the same condition as when the service was completed.

12. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, accidents, illness, or government restrictions.

13. Termination of Services

  • We may terminate services immediately if:

    • Payment terms are repeatedly breached.

    • Abuse, harassment, or unsafe conditions are present.

  • You may terminate ongoing services with 1 week written notice.

14. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.

  • Green Clean Australia agrees not to share any information provided by the Customer with any third party not directly involved in the provision of the Service (unless required to do so by law).
